If the system is to be applied in zone 1, it is required to use an Exe approved field housing with protection class IP54 (or higher). The installation of the excom® components in a housing meeting the requirements of the EN 60079-14 lies within the responsibility of the customer and has to be carried out in compliance with all instructions provided in the operating manual. It must be ensured that the admissible ambient temperature of the modules resp. components used is not exceeded by the operation-typical temperature of the field housing.
