With the universally applicable terminal bus system BL20 it is possible to plan and implement tailor-made solutions for I/O IP20 applications. There are gateways available for the connection to PROFIBUS-DP, DeviceNet™, CANopen and Ethernet. They provide diagnostic information which can be evaluated via fieldbus or the software I/O ASSISTANT. The electronic modules are applicable, independently from the fieldbus and are connected individually to the right of the gateway. The base modules are designed for fast and reliable connection to the field devices via screw or tension spring connections.
