FOUNDATION™ fieldbus power supplies / conditioners provide the necessary energy on 2-wire technology for the fieldbus devices and the communication. Thereby two important groups are distinguished:
1.- Power Conditioner:
  • No galvanic isolation
  • Possible waviness of the external voltage supply can impair the field communication. Therefore Turck recommends the usage of the Power Conditioner only in combination with an approved voltage supply.
2.- Power supplies:
  • Galvanic isolation
  • External supply voltage is internally processed for the fieldbus supply.
