The magnetic-inductive inline flow meter FCMI by TURCK measures reliably and wear-free the flow rate with an accuracy of 2% f.s. A magnetic field permeating a measuring tube deviates the free charge carriers in the targeted medium to the tube walls. Voltage is created by electrical separation and picked up by two laterally mounted electrodes. The magnitude of voltage depends on the flow rate resp. flow if the magnetic field is known. Thus the FCMI flow meter monitors reliably and wear-free the flow of various different liquid media featuring a determined minimum conductivity. TURCK has selectively strengthened its product portfolio with the precisely measuring inline flow meter FCMI, thus complementing the product range of thermal flow rate sensors with a high-precison device.
